Hello families! I'm Kailee McGunnigle, a Seattle native with a lifelong passion for caring for young children. My foundational childcare experiences include helping raise my younger brother, volunteering alongside my mother at the St.Anne church nursery, and babysitting for families in the Queen Anne/magnolia neighborhoods.

These early experiences inspired me to pursue a career in education. While working as the lead teacher at Pumpkin Patch Child Care, I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education and Care from the University of Washington. Today I am both an educator and proud mother of a one-year-old daughter-- an experience that has deepened my understanding of the trust families place in their child's caregivers. Together these roles have shaped the philosophy and design of Lucky Duckies Daycare.
