Main Playroom

Children will have access to a variety of dramatic play stations such as a play kitchen, storefront, tool bench, and more. We also offer dress-up opportunities and theme-based activities with costumes ranging from superheroes to butterflies! Children can practice cooperation, storytelling and problem-solving while exploring different roles and ideas. Singing, dancing and performances are also a big part of our day, giving children the chance to express themselves through music and movement.

Dining & Craft Station

We will explore the fascinating world of insects and small creatures through seasonal growing and observation projects. This helps children learn scientific facts and deepen their understanding of the natural world through age appropriate and developmentally friendly curriculum.

Creative crafts align with nature projects: Our arts and crafts mirror the themes children are learning about and experiencing. For example we might do: 

  • Growing and releasing butterflies, creating paper plate butterfly life-cycles, coloring butterflies, reading about butterflies.

  • Ladybug coloring, ladybug habitat, rock painting and dot stamping, ladybug counting book.

  • Veggie stamping, nature collages and seed art, some seasonal veggies included in meals for taste exploration.

  • Octopus craft, fish puppets, aquarium plates, fish and chips meal, grow brine shrimp or build a snail habitat.

Cozy Cove/Cot Room

The cozy cove is our calm, comforting retreat where ducklings can rest, read a book and enjoy quiet moments throughout the day. With gentle natural lighting, various sensory materials and calming toys, this space supports peaceful transitions like nap and circle time, as well as self-regulation when children experience big feelings.

Bathroom

The bathroom is designed to support daily self-care routines with confidence. Child accessible features and visual guides support independence and encourage good hygiene habits throughout the day.
